Key points:
- Instructors are required to have a Basic Navigation badge.
- Instructors with an expired Basic Navigation Badge can get it renewed by instructing at one In-Person Workshop and one Field Trip.
- Instructors are required to have a Basic GSP badge moving forward. However, you can instruct and can gain this badge at the same time by completing the following activities:
1. Complete the Online GPS for Instructors activity.
2. Instructing at one Fall 2019 In-Person Workshop.
3. Instructing at one Fall 2019 Field Trip. - We've added an Online GPS for Instructors to the instructor training curriculum at no charge.
- Since the Raging River site is new to everyone, instructors will be required to attend one 2-hour on-site training session. Here you'll get familiar with the site as well as the Field Trip material. The Raging River site is located about 15-minutes east of Issaquah.

- Compass
- Smart phone with Gaia
- Pencil & Paper for note taking
- Appropriate clothing for outdoor exercise
