Wilderness Navigation - Field Trip - Onsite Instructor Training - Raging River State Forest

This is an onsite training activity for the Foothill Wilderness Navigation Field Trip at the Raging River State Forest.

We will meet at the BPA Substation at 8:30 am. Then caravan to the trailhead. The walk through training will begin at 9:00 and finish by 1 PM. Expect to be back at the substation by 1:30.

Details will be provided a couple of days prior to this activity.   

The purpose of this training is to familiarize instructors and volunteers with the Raging River site and field trip exercises. It is required for first time field trip instructors and volunteers;  recommended for experienced folks since the field trip is typically improved each year. 

The Raging River State Forest field trip site is located 20 mins east of Issaquah close to the intersection of I-90 and SR18.
