Meet at 7:00 am at the Heybrook trailhead. There is no parking pass required. You may want to stop in Monroe or Sultan for a bathroom break before arriving at the Trailhead, as there is no privy.
The trail is a fairly steady climb up to the viewpoint, with a few shorter flat areas. Terrain includes a small stream at the beginning to rock hop over. We will then encounter soft forest floor and into lots of tree roots and embedded large rocks, with a few potential muddy spots to navigate.
Sturdy hiking shoes are essential, and poles recommended.
