June Hikes: 3.5 to 6 miles, 400 to 1,500 feet gain - Lookout Mountain Forest Preserve

Let's enjoy a 6 mile, 1,100 feet elevation gain loop hike in one of the parks in the Whatcom County Parks system. We will hike to a pretty waterfall and the tallest peak in the trail system. The trails meander through a variety of forest types and crosses a couple streams. The beginning of the hike has the most elevation gain.

Meet at the trailhead geared up and ready to hike at 8:30 AM.  Address: 2537 Lake Louise Rd., Bellingham, WA. No specific parking passes needed. This trailhead has plenty of parking and a running water bathroom.  More information in 'Hello Hiker' email a couple days prior to the hike.
