This is considered an urban hike. There isn't a need for all 10 essentials and more information will be provided in the email you receive June 24. Please bring a small day pack, with at least 1 liter of water, which equals about 32 oz.

In addition, please bring hiking poles for balance if you have them, a small snack and some layers as it may be chilly starting out. Good hiking boots or good traction runners are recommended. Sun protection is encouraged.

This is considered loop hike.  We will start out at a comfortable pace. There may be times where we will go faster, but the hike will be around 2 mph, and on flatter parts, we could go a little quicker.

Expect to be at the park until around 11:30AM, just to allow for stopping, assessing, conversation, picture taking, etc
