March GoHike Pacing Hikes: 2 to 4 miles, 0 to 750 feet of elevation gain - Tiger Mountain Lowlands

This hike is intended to help you and the GoHike team determine what pace and challenge level you want to start with in the series.

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)
  • Mileage: 2.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 200 ft
  • Pace: 1.5

Meet at 9AM at the High Point/Tradition Lake Trailhead, ready to hike!  Google map location https://goo.gl/maps/jA6g9BsftXsV2wCo7.

Please note: This parking lot fills up very quickly. I'd prefer us to park along the long road leading up to the entrance to the lot. There is a sign that says High Point Trailhead' and this is where we will start our hike. It will still be 2 miles with the same gain.

The Mountaineers do not recommend carpooling at this time.

This is a flat and easy walk by Tradition Lake and an abandoned bus in the forest.

We will follow The Mountaineers phase 2 Covid-19 protocols and every participant will be asked to agree to the Covid-19 Code of Conduct in order to register.
