August Hikes: 4 miles to 7 miles, 600 to 2,000 feet gain - Around South Tiger Mountain

This is a moderate, 7 mile in-and-out day hike with 1,600 ft in elevation gain. The trail hikes through old-growth forests to a scenic waterfall. This hike can count toward your GoHike graduation!

The Mountaineers do not recommend carpooling with anyone outside your household at this time.

Starting at the southern terminus of the Tiger Mountain Trail, we'll circle the South Tiger Mountain Peak through lovely old growth forest, including a pretty waterfall, and return via a parallel trail. 

We will follow The Mountaineers Covid-19 protocols and every participant will be asked to agree to the Covid-19 Code of Conduct in order to register.
