April Hikes: 2.5 - 5 miles, 250 - 1,000 feet gain - Discovery Park

This beautiful, gentle loop hike through lovely Discovery Park can apply toward your GoHike Graduation! We will keep a steady pace with time for photos of the terrific views. There are some ups and downs.

  • Elevation Gain: 207 ft
  • Pace: 1.5-2.0 mph

Carpooling is not recommended at this time with people outside your household due to the risk of Covid-19.

The hike could be quite muddy in places if it's been raining. The trail varies between forested areas and open meadows. There might not be a restroom at the beginning of the hike, but there are a couple of restrooms/portapottys during the hike. No technical skills or special equipment required.
