Meet at Artist Point Trailhead at 7:30 AM. The reason for the early start is to avoid crowds later in the day since this is a very popular area. NOTE: This means a roughly 4:30am departure from downtown Seattle to be on time (with no stops on the way). There are overnight accommodations on the way to the trailhead best researched ASAP. Details later on the hike itself.
The Trip: This trip will be by-design laid back and casual in nature, and our pace will be based on our slowest participant (which might be me 🙂). I promote frequent stops for photo opps, or just to grab a snack or drink of water; barring safety concerns, we will be in no rush. Please note if you find yourself to be a fast-paced hiker who frequently passes others on trails, and/or finds yourself frustrated by slower hikers in your group, this might not be the trip for you.
