Calling all ladies who hike to the beat of their own drum. Mark your calendar for this evening with other female adventurers to discuss trip planning as well as women-specific tips for gear, hygiene, and traveling safely / responsibly.  Tell your friends and their teen daughters - this will be great for them too!
Women in the Backpacking Building Blocks course as well as their teen daughters and supportive partners are welcome to attend as long as they participate from a single account.
NOTE:  This seminar is aimed primarily toward women early in their backpacking journey, though there will be some more advanced information.  Participants should have some basic familiarity with backpacking as this will not be a comprehensive coverage of backpacking gear and skills.
A small fee is charged for this seminar to help the Mountaineers maintain their mission to get adults and youth outdoors and conserve wild places during these difficult financial times.  Students registered for the 2022 Backpacking Building Blocks course can take this seminar for free but to get that price you need to register for the B3 course.
