Required Equipment
Normal backpacking equipment with the following additions:
- Shoes or sandals for the river crossing.
- Gloves to prevent burning your hands on the friction descending the fixed hand lines.
- Bear Canister to keeps animals out of your food. Each participant must have a bear canister. Bear canisters can be obtained at the Wilderness Center.
