Family Backpack - Shi Shi Beach

About 10 AM (depending on ferry) at Olympic NP Wilderness Information Center in Port Angeles

When we meet at the Wilderness Information Center in Port Angeles, we will pay for camping ($8/person/night....for adults, all youth under 16 are free). Bear canisters are required for this trip, however, these can be rented at WIC and we can consolidate. After picking up permit, we will stop at the Washburn General Store where we will purchase Makah Recreation passes ($10 per car, but good for a calendar year). Near trailhead, we must park in the backpacker’s parking lot. It is $10/car/day...so $20 for this trip.
