Meet Saturday, July 7, at 10am at the Anderson Creek Sno-Park on the south end of Baker Lake.  This trailhead is off Hwy 20 and the Baker Lake Road near Hamilton.  We`ll start hiking from the trail head at 10:30am.

This is an easy (adult) and moderate (young kids) trip, good for young hikers and their elders.  See great views of Mts. Baker and Shuksan, and enjoy the BIG trees and lake shore of Baker Lake.  Saturday we`ll hike a nice downhill grade 2 miles (200 feet elevation loss) to camp on the east side of Baker Lake at the Anderson Point camp.  Sunday we`ll retrace our steps back to the trail head 2 miles uphill (200 feet elevation gain), arriving early afternoon.  Bring your family backpack gear, a swim suit if you like chilly lakes, your fishing pole and license are welcome, and your NW Forest Pass for parking. Bring 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, and snacks for your family.   The weather may be variable so be prepared.  An email with trip details will be sent 2 weeks before departure. I`m looking forward to the trip!
