6:30PM on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at  the Lake Hills Library, 15590 Lake Hills Blvd., Bellevue, WA 98007

This one-night clinic was created at the request of hike and backpack leaders who haven't been able to commit the time and money to complete the 20 hour Wilderness First Aid course, but still want a good basic understanding of what should go in a first-aid kit and how to use it in common trail situations. We will provide new and long-time hike and backpack leaders with some basic skills and information to handle the most common first-aid situations encountered on trails:   blisters, sprains, hypothermia, wound care, splints and slings as time permits. We will also review Mountaineers club protocols for responding to emergency situations.
