Stewardship Hike - Tiger Mountain Lowlands

This is an opportunity for B3 students to join a 3-hour stewardship event to clean up one of our most-visited mountains, and then join a post-clean-up hike if they wish.

Check in at the Tradition Lake Shelter by 9:00 a.m.  It's a short walk from the parking lot to the shelter. This is a popular mountain, so please leave yourself some extra time to find parking. A Discover Pass is required.

Check-in at the Tradition Lake Shelter between 8:45 and 9:00. From 9:00-12:00, we will pick up trash around the  shelter, the bathroom,  the edges of the parking lot, and the surrounding area. Disposable gloves and trash bags will be provided. The stewardship event will conclude at noon. Participants will be asked to bring at least one bag of trash home with them for disposal.

I will break for lunch and general clean-up from 12:00-12:45. Anyone who wishes to may then join me for a 5-mile hike with 2,100 feet of gain/loss on Tiger Mountain, starting from the shelter. See the map.
