Rain or shine

This is a relaxed, beginner’s backpacking trip to give students the opportunity to try out their gear and apply the skills they've learned in the B3 course.  We’ll be hiking along the North Fork Skokomish River, at a moderate pace (1.5-2 mph), with a goal of enjoying the area’s scenery and learning as much as possible.

We’ll meet at the Staircase Rapids Trailhead and hike upstream 9 miles on the North Fork Skokomish River Trail to Nine Stream Camp.

Participants will each be responsible for the $8/person permit fee.
