Hard sided bear canisters are REQUIRED on the coast due to raccoons! Ursacks aren't allowed. Canisters can be rented from the rangers when we pick up permits or at REI.
We will be on the beach during peak Milky Way visibility, so if you're an aspiring astrophotographer this is the trip for you - bring your tripod!
Permits are $8 per person so your leader would greatly appreciate it if you could reimburse him.
