Backpacking Building Blocks Student-Only Backpack - Navaho Pass

This field trip will give B3 students the opportunity to try out gear and new skills on an easy overnight backpack with an experienced mentor.

This will be a summer solstice overnight trip. We’ll camp at the meadow below the pass. We’ll enjoy sunrise coffee and then hike up to the pass.  There we’ll discuss the geology of the Teanaways and the Stuart range. For those that want to can hike up to the pass before on returning to the meadow to break camp and return to the trailhead
