TBD

Backpack to an old mining town by heading up a long-closed road along the South Fork Sauk River. This route largely sticks to the old route taken by miners over a century ago - expect a log crossing to cross South Fork Sauk River.  We are camping one night around the ghost town area.

We will hike 4 miles up the abounded road with 400 feet of elevation gain to a high point of 2,800 ft.

After making camp we can explore the ghost town and/or day hike to Glacier Basin, Silver Lake, or Twin Lakes (if really ambitious).
