Backpacking Building Blocks Student-Only Backpack - Baker Lake

An easy early season overnight backpack trip of 6.8 miles RT with 2000 ft elevation gain. We'll start at the southern trailhead and hike along the edge of Baker Lake to the Maple Grove camp. This field trip will give B3 students the opportunity to try out gear and new skills on an easy overnight backpack with an experienced mentor.

This is a relaxed, beginner’s backpacking trip to give B3 students the opportunity to try out their gear and apply the skills they've learned in the course.

We'll meet at the southern Baker Lake trailhead and hike north, along the edge of Baker Lake, to the Maple Grove camp.
