A Northwest Forest Pass or national parks pass is required to park here. 

There is no outhouse at this trailhead. Last outhouse is a vault toilet several hundred feet back down the road at the Garfield Ledges trailhead.

A field trip to a backcountry location, e.g., a trail off the I-90 corridor, Hwy 2, Hwy 410 or the Pacific Crest Trail, to reinforce what you have learned and evaluate your learning.
