Meet at 7:30am at the main parking area, ready to go by 7:45am. A Northwest Forest Pass or national parks pass is required to park here. 

There is an outhouse at this trailhead.

A field trip to a backcountry location, e.g., a trail off the I-90 corridor, Hwy 2, Hwy 410 or the Pacific Crest Trail, to reinforce what you have learned and evaluate your learning.

This is one of the course field trips rated as moderate to challenging.
