Out and back along the Palouse to Cascades Trail. Route will be from Cedar Falls trailhead to Ragnar and back. Expect a side trip to shake our packs up a little bit to check feel and comfort. Exact route will be included in pre-trip email.

Now that you have your gear, we are going to simulate an overnight experience. Come with your gear, essentials, food and water packed. We will run a short distance to a location in the evening, set up camp, cook and eat dinner and then break it down and run back out. Bring a headlamp to pack up and run back to the trailhead in case it's dark. The objective is to determine if you have everything you need but are not overpacked, the pack fits well, and if you need to make any changes before our overnight and longer distance field trip.
