The class will be held in the Evergreen Middle School library, 7621 Beverly Ln. Everett, WA  98203. The first lecture is at 6:30 on Thursday, January 11.

 

Topics of instruction will include selection and use of proper equipment, conditioning, what to rent, where to go, how to plan and evaluate snowshoe routes to avoid avalanche risk, winter travel, safety, and choosing an outing. Students will be eligible to participate in basic snowshoe tours with the confidence of having a foundation in winter travel.
