Meet at 8AM for a 9AM Launch.  Meet at boat ramp/dock next to 105 Sherman Street, La Conner, WA.  Directions: Navigate to Chilburg Road- this is the main street heading into La Conner from the east.  At the round-about where La Conner-Whitney Rd meets Chilburg continue west for one more block. Chilburg turns into Morris at the round-about.  One block west of the round-about turn left (south) on Maple  Ave.  In about 8 blocks turn right on Caledonia St.  In three blocks turn left (southwest) on South Third St.  At Tee turn Right on Sherman St.  Follow Sherman one block and at the sharp left bend you'll see the boat ramp and dock.  If you go under the Maple Ave Bridge (aka Pioneer Parkway aka Rainbow Bridge) you have gone too far.  (Note:  you can't get to the launch site from Maple).

Opportunity to complete a student paddle on a trip that is only open to students and instructors.

The plan is to paddle from La Conner out the Swinomish Channel on the ebb past Goat Island and then head north to Sneeoosh Point and over to the south side of Hope Island where we'll stop for lunch.  We'll then paddle back on the flood to the launch site, arriving about 3PM or so.  We'll  have a voluntary after paddle fest at the La Conner Brewing Company.  Good food, atmosphere and beverages.
