8:30am at the 'far side' parking area of Exit 38. Discover pass is required.
We'll build on the skills presented at fundamentals in a real rock environment. The following topics will be covered.
- Route examination; bolts, length, rock type and condition, run-out.
- Guidebook use.
- Communication; what's the plan?
- Lead climbing and belaying.
- Top-rope anchors and access from above.
- Bailing.
