At LOR1 the students will learn the fundamentals of trad gear placements and will learn how to build trad gear anchors. The student will practice placing different types of trad gear and learn when to use it. These skills will be practiced while climbing top roped on single pitch route.

The emphasis of this class is learning to rock climb as safely as possible in near vertical rock.
