Ready to go time is 9:00 am, so please arrive with sufficient time to get settled in. These two days are necessarily efficiency minded due to amount of material presented and added complexity of COVID protocols dictating group management.

Day 1 will be split between Goodman C and the South Plaza Boulder field, with groups rotating between the 2. Be sure to be prepared for outdoor weather, as we will be outdoors rain or shine.

Day 2 will see groups split between the Basement and Boulder Field.

We will likely begin the morning meeting outdoors in the Boulder Field as one group to discuss aspects of the course as social distancing as one large group will be possible before splitting into smaller working groups.

Strong possibility that some sort of Zoom/Google Meet session will precede this date if we deem it necessary and advantageous depending on current COVID environment.

Required Equipment

Harness, helmet, slings, biners, runner, belay device (ATC or other with guide mode) necessary for intro sessions.

Stay tuned for more info, but for this first session you will not need to worry about having any of your own trad rack, etc. In fact we discourage gear purchases until a bit later in the course, as you will have the opportunity to see and play with a broad spectrum of gear as instructors offer their experiences/preferences/recommendations.
