This seminar is an introduction to basic Self Rescue techniques. This is not a substitute or replacement for the Everett Self Rescue course that is a required component of the Everett Intermediate Climbing Program.

This seminar gives the student some entry level self rescue tools that may be useful while climbing. This seminar is meant to give students a head start on some easier self rescue techniques ahead of the full Self Rescue (SRC) course.  Topics may include load releasing hitches, passing a knot, evaluating bolts and partner/self rescue.
