Basic Self Rescue Intro Seminar 1 - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

This seminar is a basic introduction to some simpler climber rescue techniques. This seminar is not to be confused with Everett’s full Self Rescue Course.

Class will meet in the basement of the Seattle Program Center. Detailed email will be sent out.

This seminar gives the student some entry level self rescue tools that may be useful while climbing. This seminar is meant to give students a head start on some easier self rescue techniques ahead of the full Self Rescue (SRC) course.  Topics may include load releasing hitches, passing a knot and evaluating bolts.
