Scrambling Rope Techniques Workshop - View Ridge Playfield

Train-the-trainer session - orientation for instructors for organizing scrambling rope workshops within their own branch.

  • Challenging

View Ridge Playfield (NE Seattle), 9:00 AM

Leader permission required - please provide the signup code, available from your scrambling committee.

This is a "train-the-trainer" session, showing how to use this location to efficiently run a Scrambling Rope workshop for your branch.

A recorded video lecture (2 hrs) and an online quiz will be available prior to this workshop, such that they could be used for your future participants.

A recorded video of coaching a frightened scrambler in using the protected downclimb technique will be available prior to this workshop, such that it could be used to help prepare actors in demonstrating this,  running a "frightened scrambler scenario" at your workshop, or simply have participants view the video.

A sample grade card will be provided prior to this workshop.

The workshop itself will probably only take 1 to 1.5 hours.

If workshop fills, please do sign up on the waitlist. If there is a sufficient waitlist, a second session will be created.
