Be ready to go at 7:30am at the Stevens Pass Ski Area parking lot near the toilet. (South side of the highway)
We will walk up the (closed) ski slopes and select a few places to practice ice axe arrest techniques.
Remember to bring the standard scrambling items listed in required equipment, as well as your rain/snow gear. We will be getting wet in the snow.
This optional field trip will provide additional ice axe practice with instructors for scrambling students who want to futher improve their technique after the snow field trip.
