COVID Precautions, Actions Required: evidence of vaccination and test negative on arrival
- You must submit proof of vaccination to Covid@MtBakerLodge.Com AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. Otherwise you will be removed from the roster and refunded.
- Wear a wear face covering / mask inside the lodge until you receive a negative test result and the host logs that result.
- All hosts, guests and volunteers will self-administer a rapid antigen test provided by the lodge on arrival, before gaining access to the main part of the building. Results are available in 10-15 minutes, and there will be a heated waiting area, or alternatively you can use the time to bring your gear from the parking lot.
We are operating the Lodge at reduced capacity to create a more comfortable and dispersed indoor space. Masks are required unless eating/drinking or sleeping, and social distancing in the common areas is encouraged.
While we cannot guarantee a COVID free environment at the lodge, we believe that these preventative measures will reduce the risks and allow us to gather.
Meals: Dinner and breakfast are included (lunches are excluded)
Arrival: To get from the parking lot to the Lodge, you will need to walk about 500' on snow and carry in your gear. This could require walking in deep snow or a packed trail. Snowshoes or skis are the best option for deep snow, but at a minimum you should have sturdy boots, snow pants and gloves readily available for the walk in. The lodge is a bit hard to find – it’s not visible from the road. Study the map closely (it’s marked on Google maps accurately and shows up on satellite view). If you’re arriving in the dark, you’ll need a light to follow the trail and find the lodge.
Bring: Sleeping bag, warms clothes, headlamp, slippers or indoor shoes
Thank you for your support of Baker Lodge and we look forward to recreating together!
