Maps: South Olympic Coast (CC), La Push (USGS) A short trail leads down to the beach. Tents can be pitched on the sand and the day can be spent hiking, exploring the beach, and examining tide pools. The most difficult part of the trip is scrambling over deadfall washed up on the beach. There is a stream near the trail that can be used for filtering water. There is a vault toilet on the ridge above the beach.
