McCleary Cliffs
Named for Mountaineer Mac McCleary, this is a crag area on the north side of Lake Cushman on the Olympic Penninsula. It is home to a number of 5.6-5.12 bolted sport routes, but few trad routes. This is a growing area with new routes put up every year. It's great for a day of rock climbing with friends or learning how to rock climb.
Getting there
From US 101 turn west onto SR 119 (aka N Lake Cushman Rd) and drive 9.3 miles to a "T" intersection. Turn left onto Forest Road 24 and continue ~4 miles to parking on the left (south) side of the road (800 ft).

While this area does not currently have any permit requirements or restrictions, it is up to us to make sure we are being good land stewards and setting the standard for others to follow. Please keep group sizes to 15 total people and the number of Mountaineers groups to 3 per day.
