Intro to Hiking + Alpine Lakes Wilderness

Whether you are new to the area, new to hiking, or an experienced Pacific Northwest hiker, you are welcome to attend this free seminar.  Learn tips and tricks from fellow hikers on how to have a safe and enjoyable time on the trail.  We will have both a powerpoint presentation and hands on demonstrations.

7:30-8:30PM Special Author Presentation
Join us for a special presentation from authors Nathan and Jeremy Barnes! Nathan and Jeremy will share tips and advice from their new book Alpine Lakes Wilderness: The Complete Hiking Guide, along with spectacular photography for inspiration and historical vignettes for context. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A period and an opportunity to purchase a copy of the book and have it signed by the authors.

This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is preferred, though walk-ins are also welcome.
