Successful climb of Mt Shuksan in good conditions.
4 glorious days surrounded by wildflowers, sunrises, sunsets, and peaks of the Pasayten Wilderness. Side scrambles to summits of South Jackita Ridge and Bear Skull. 37 miles, 11,800' gain.
Foggy conditions for much of the day made navigation a bit more challenging, but we had a great day anyway on this classic trip.

A four day July glacier climb up Glacier Peak and Disappointment Peak.
As the sun rose and the team ascended the Sulphide glacier, it was described as “The most beautiful place I’ve ever seen”.
Rarely done, single-day loop from Owyhigh Lakes Trailhead up the receding Sarvant Glacier to Cowlitz Central and Banshee, descending via Panhandle Gap to Summerland
Four of us enjoyed a private hike from the saddle between Mt. Catherine and Mirror Lake/PCT to Mirror Lake with blueberries bursting from the bushes and beautiful wading and swimming conditions.
This hike has a unique elevation profile that begins with a descent from the parking area and alternately climbs and descends along the way. In summer the trail passes through alpine meadows full of flowers. The lakes are picturesque and are nestled in beautiful alpine terrain.

An exploratory scramble traverse of Baldy, East Baldy, Peak B, and Tyler Peak and then down to a beautiful blue tarn to camp.
A four day trip of Mt Olympus via the Blue Glacier. Great weather, great route conditions, and a great group all equals a great Mountaineers trip!

The Seattle MAC ventured across the Squamish River to visit the Tantalus range via Lake Lovely Water. Thanks to Matt Swenson, who inspired this trip and did most of the legwork to make it happen.
Great basic rock climb with a steady approach from the Surprise Creek Trailhead and two short, straightforward pitches. The next group should bring ~20' of webbing or cord to reinforce the upper rappel anchor around a huge boulder.
We hiked the Thorp Creek trail to the summit . The views of the Cascade Crest Peaks were great . We enjoyed the wildflowers .
Two of us did a private Saturday hike with our dog to scout Wallace Lake including its north beach, Pebble Beach. Clouds kept the temperatures cooler and crowds were mostly headed for the Falls. We had the beach all to ourselves for a good ten minutes.
