getting there

From Twisp on SR 20, drive the Twisp River Road (Forest Road 44) to War Creek Campground. Just after the campground turn left onto Forest Road 4430. Take the left fork, Forest Road 4420, 0.25 miles after crossing Twisp River and right in 0.8 miles onto Forest Road 4420-080. Drive it to its end and the Eagle Creek Trailhead (3,000 ft).
