Mount Fremont Lookout, Berkeley Park & Skyscraper Mountain

From Sunrise in Mount Rainier National Park hike along Sourdough Ridge, past Frozen Lake to Mount Fremont Lookout, Berkeley Park, or Skyscraper Mountain. Enjoy excellent views of Mount Rainier. Distant peaks on the North Cascades, like Glacier Peak, Mount Stuart and even Mount Baker are visible on clear days. These hikes are easy to moderate range from 5.6 to 8.0 miles round trip with 800 to 1,775 feet of elevation gain.

getting there

From SR-410 turn onto the the White River Road. In 1.4 min stop at the White River Wilderness Information Center to obtain your permits. Follow the White River Road to its end at Sunrise (6,400 ft).
