Mesahchie & Katsuk Peaks
There's nothing easy about Easy Pass. This is a long, hard scramble of 8,795-foot Mesahchie Peak and 8,426-foot Katsuk Peak in the North Cascades. You'll experience solitude and great views on the 20 miles and 8,500 feet of elevation gain traveled on this scramble.
Approach & Ascent
Drive to the Easy Pass trailhead on State Route 20. Hike over Easy Pass and descend towards Fisher Camp at 5,100 feet. Head up to a high camp at 6,700 feet on Mesahchie Peak's south shoulder.
Ascend northwest up slopes to gain the saddle between Mesahchie and Katsuk Peaks. Climb to each of the summits from this saddle.
