Dirty Harry's Balcony (winter)

Dirty Harry's Balcony is a short, easy scramble in winter, with only 1,500 ft of elevation gain in about 6 miles. It offers multiple views to the south and west over the I-90 corridor. It is a very different perspective on other classic peaks such as McClellan Butte and Mount Washington.

The winter scramble route for Dirty Harry's Balcony starts just over the paved bridge over the South  Fork of the Snoqualmie River, heading east and then northeast through the Far Side climbing area, skirting along the cliffs above I-90, visiting a couple minor balconies. Skirt Point 2613 on the south (heavily treed), heading for Dirty Harry's Balcony. This is usually done as a loop trip, descending via the Dirty Harry's logging road/trail.
