Centennial Trail

A 30-mile trail through Snohomish County popular for walking, bicycling, hiking, and horseback riding and accessible to people of all levels of physical ability. The trail was built on the old Burlington-Northern railroad line which began in 1989 during Washington State's centennial.

Arlington to Bryant

7.8 miles round trip

A pleasant out-and-back walk on Centennial Trail through Haller Park, over the Stillaguamish River, past Whitehorse Trail trailhead, a quarry, old dairy farms, Bryant Lake, and the small community of Bryant.

Arlington to Lake Stevens

14 miles one-way

After perusing the public art in Legion Memorial Park in Arlington, enjoy a bucolic 14-mile walk to Lake Stevens. Walk past pastures and through wooded areas to the bus stop near the Lake Stevens Library.

Lake Stevens to Snohomish

9 miles round trip

Walk along the Centennial Trail from Lake Stevens to Snohomish, the Antique Capitol of Washington State. Along this 9-mile stretch of the trail, you'll enjoy some walking through wooded areas, you'll see lots of cows and horses grazing in pastures and have the chance to find a book at the Little Free Library.
