Tip Top Mountain
The plan is to start at the beginning of FS7204 along US-97 (opposite to Boot trail). We will start direclty off-trail, to gain the ridge leading to the notch at 4000 feet. We will be cutting across multiple forest roads along the way. This is to do all the sparsely treed slopes early in the day, under cold weather.  Once at 4k feet, will follow one of the many route options to the summit of Tip of 4760 feet. From the summit, we will again drop down to the trail at 3600 feet by going through a steep - off trail path. From there, it will mostly be roads and flat trail along the Ruby creek
Meeting time: Saturday 20th March 8.30AM at the Gate closing at the beginning of the NFD 7204(along US 97). I'm not sure about parking passes at the TH, if you have a NW Forest pass or equivalent, please bring them. Also a sno-park pass might be required
