Looking for a short but sweet mid-week work out with a short drive? Stegosaurus Butte is for you! This is just a little more than a hike but recent snow could make it more interesting is any is left at low elevations. The route follows a well-defined boot path. Think Cable line but more mud, roots, rocks and steeper grade but also much better views on a clear day!

We will also add another short hike to Garfield Ledges to catch the sunset if timing works out and the group is keen. This would make it a total of 5.5 mi and 1700 ft of gain.

COVID protocols with be strictly followed. Masks will be worn at trailheads and whenever you are within 6 ft of others. Make sure you have hand-sanitizer too.

Also bring micro spikes (and poles if you use them) and don’t forget your headlamp!

A more detailed planning email will be sent to participant on Monday.
