A very beautiful and strenuous (~5500' over ~9 miles) winter scramble with sweeping views of the North Cascades in all directions. A recent history of winter scrambles with at least 5000' elevation gain is required.

Various P&Rs to accommodate attendees, then 7am at heated restrooms in Newhalem.
Very beautiful and strenuous (~5500' over ~9 miles) winter scramble with sweeping views of North Cascades in all directions. Owing to our small party size we should all expect to take part in the arduous task of breaking trail. A recent history of winter scrambles with at least 5000' elevation gain is required.
