We will meet at the Eastgate P&R (under the overpass in the lot east of the parking garage) at 6:40 am.
This will be a moderate to fast paced winter scramble. As I write this, the avalanche hazard is 'high' above treeline. I am hoping that with dry weather Wed and Thurs that the heavy snows from tonight and Tues will have a chance to settle and the NWAC avalanche hazard forecast will be reduced to moderate above treeline. This trip only goes if the avalanche hazard rating is reduced to moderate. If we do not get the requisite avalanche hazard forecast I am open to (but not guaranteed) offering an alternate destination tbd.
