6:30 at Issaquah P&R; - see notes
(A previous trip was cancelled due to nasty avy & weather reports. Those signed up for that trip are welcome to e-mail me before the official signup-begin-date, and I will put them on the list.) This is a one day trip, with a preferred date of the 16th, with a avy/weather fallback of the 17rd. Let's meet in the parking structure at the Issaquah P&R; - NE corner. We'll consolidate cars for the drive to the Denny (Annette Lake) TH - where parking may be limited. Route - we'll be ascending the ridge in the SE direction, then (mostly) following Silver's NW ridge; return the same route. This avoids the most avalanche prone areas. Be sure to bring all the usual snow gear, including ice axe, snowshoes, and crampons. Please also bring your diaper harness or equivalent. If you have a shovel or avy probe, bring that - we should probably have 3 sets, we'll decide who gets to carry them in Issaquah. If avy risk is too high (but not outrageous) we may divert to Humpback. Nasty weather - such as freezing rain) in the area on both days- cancels.
