6:30 AM at Exit 20 off I-90 (Tiger Mountain)
Destination subject to change if the avalanche conditions are moderate or above. Under the right conditions, this is a classic winter scramble: we'll start at Alpental, go up the valley to the head of the valley and cross over to Snow Lake. Then, we do our Jesus imitation and walk across the lake. We then climb to Gem lake and on to the summit of Wright. If we have clear skies, the view from the middle of Snow Lake is incredible. This is a long scramble. You must be in good shape to sign up.
