7.30am at Granite Mountain Trailhead (off exit 47). More details will be shared with participants in the email.
This is going to be moderate, conversational paced scramble (not a death march). Due to that, be prepared for a long day in the moutains.
Snowshoes, crampons, ice axe and microspikes are required.
The location is subject to change in case of adverse weather or avalanche forecast.
Tentiative backup locaiton: Blowdown Mountain and Crater Lake Peak (behind Mt Si).
