7:15am at nice developed TH, large parking lot.

NOAA forecasts 30% chance of rain with low volume so drizzle: (Thursday 1pm). If raining at 7am, suggest pulling into Old Mt. Si parking lot for good conditioner, quicker return to cars.

Required Equipment

  • The Ten Essentials
  • Helmet
  • snowshoes ( aggressive traction like MSR's)
  • microspikes recommended
  • Ice Axe (your choice)
  • Mountaineering Boots
  • trekking poles ( your choice, but I believe 11th Essential)
  • face mask ( please come prepared. Will need on descent between Waterfalls and parking lot and possibly helpful ridge.)

Check with leader for any additional group gear or required equipment specific to trip location
